Cantilever type dock leveler with rotary lip, DLHHC series

The electro-hydraulic platform with a cantilever-type rotating ramp of the DLHHC series is a typical device for loading dock equipment and is used to provide access from the warehouse area to the vehicle body. When launched, the platform rises and the ramp rotates and opens. The platform is lowered until it reaches the floor of the car body. Upon completion of work, the platform returns to its original position.

Wheel guides. They are used to direct reversing vehicles safely and quickly on to the loading docks thus preventing damages to dock shelters or the building. The guides are designed to minimise possible contact with the truck wheel rim. They are made of steel tubes with 159 mm diameter and positioned in front of the loading dock. These wheel guides are fixed to the surface with anchor bolts or embedded into a concrete foundation.

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the dock leveler to ensure its safe and smooth operation.

Keep people and goods clear of working area while operating the dock leveler.

Keep overhead door fully open while operating the dock leveler.

Make sure the vehicle is properly parked against the dock bumpers. Chock the wheels if needed.

Do not drive on the leveler unless the lip is securely positioned on the truck bed and has a minimum of 100 mm overlap on its surface.

Operating Conditions

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the dock leveler to ensure its safe and smooth operation.

Keep people and goods clear of working area while operating the dock leveler.

Keep overhead door fully open while operating the dock leveler.

Make sure the vehicle is properly parked against the dock bumpers. Chock the wheels if needed.

Do not drive on the leveler unless the lip is securely positioned on the truck bed and has a minimum of 100 mm overlap on its surface.

Ensure that the control unit location allows the operator to clearly see and control dock leveler operation.

Use dock levelers with 1,3 Н/mm² point load only with standard forklifts having inflatable wheels.

Use dock levelers with 6,5 Н/mm² point load with loading machinery having high point load, including electric stackers, pallet carriers, reach trucks, order picking stackers on polyurethane wheels.

Additional Information

Lifting equipment: forklift truck (minimum load capacity — 35 kN, fork length — not less than 2 000 mm); crane (minimum load capacity — 20 kN).

Mounting equipment: welding machine (5–200 A); 3 mm welding electrodes.

Warranty

DoorHan warrants the console dock leveler with hinged lip to operate properly for a period of 2 years from purchase date for retail and dealer orders.
